When I started my natural journey about 2yrs. ago I was afraid and unsure if I would be able to manage my natural state. I took a while to think about if I wanted to do this natural thing and made sure it was not just a fad, but something I really wanted. I talked with friends and asked questions of those who already were on the journey and decided this was what I sincerely wanted to do. When I was ready I took about two inches or so off my mane and haven't looked back since! Yes naturals do have bad hair days and have their moments of wanting to go back to the creamy crack(Lol), but I've enjoyed getting to know my own hair.
